Itinerary:

Day 1
: London- Tokyo
Depart on Japan Airlines from London Heathrow to Tokyo Narita Airport.

Day 2: Tokyo
Arrive Tokyo Narita Airport. Met on arrival at Narita Airport & escorted the airport bus stand. Transfer by the airport bus (public service) to your hotel.
Accommodation: Grand New Takanawa Prince Hotel

Day 3: Tokyo
Morning sightseeing tour of Tokyo including Tokyo Tower, Imperial Place and Meiji Shrine.

Day 4-5: Tokyo
Free to enjoy Tokyo.

Day 6: Tokyo-Mt Fuji-Hakone
Deluxe motor coach to the foot of Mt.Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. Lunch at Hotel Highland Resort. Afternoon, proceed to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi and Mt.Komagatake Aerial Cableway.

Day 7: Hakone-Takayama
Morning, drive to Odawara and board a Shinkansen for Nagoya. Transfer to a limited-express for Takayama, an ancient, tranquil city called "Little Kyoto". Afternoon, stroll through Takayama, visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall, where colorfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed; Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage; and the streets of Kami Sannomachi, which preserve traditional Japanese wooden houses. Accommodation at Hida Hotel Plaza.

Day 8: Takayama-Shirakawago-Kanazawa
Visit the famous morning market of Takayama. Scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shokawa River to Shirakawago, designated in 1995 as part of the World Heritage. Its high lights are unique structures called Gassho-Zukuri, or joined-hands farmhouses. Then visit Gokayama, another World Heritage village, where you can experience making Gokayama Washi, traditional Japanese paper. Continue to Kanazawa.

Day 9: Kanazawa-Kyoto  
Morning sightseeing in Kanazawa, visiting Kenroku-en Garden, Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln, Nagamachi Samurai House. Afternoon, back to Kyoto by a limited-express. Four nights stay in Kyoto.

Day 10: Kyoto & Nara
Full day sightseeing tour of Kyoto and Nara. This includes Nijo Castle, Kyoto Imperial Palace and Golden Pavilion. After lunch at the Handicraft Centre, travel on to Nara to visit Todaiji Temple, housing a colossal image of Buddha, Deer Park and the Kasuga Shrine.

Day 11 - 12: Kyoto
Free to enjoy Kyoto.

Day 13:
Kyoto-London
Assisted transfer from the hotel to Kyoto station. Depart on Japan Airlines from Osaka Kansai Airport to London Heathrow, same day arrival.
